Speaker: Susan Rogers, RN, BSN, CCM Rogers Professional Guidance
Susan is a board certified nurse case manager specializing in teaching and consulting on nationally trended, cutting-edge healthcare issues. With her case management experience of over 20 years, Susan developed a thorough appreciation of every aspect of the healthcare environment from payer to provider to consumer.
She owns a case management education/consulting company and is a national recognized speaker, educator and author. Her entrepreneur, consulting, team building and strategic planning skills aid in her endeavor of producing a national network of trained and connected case managers. Collaborative practice along the transition of care has always been her passion. As the United States crosses into a new horizon of healthcare, Susans direct to consumer experience will be critical. Providers as well as consumers will benefit from her knowledge.
Susan was National President for Case Management Society of America in 2005-2006, and remains active in the case management community. She was instrumental in creating and teaching the Case Management Adherence Guidelines. She authored CMAG Diabetes and co-authored CMAG-II and CMAG Depression. As a member of the CMAG Business Unit, Susan continues to support adherence teaching for case managers and other healthcare providers. She is also a member of the America Association of Occupational Health Nurses, Inc.
